THE ROYAL ŁAZIENKI MUSEUM
The Royal Łazienki Museum is one of the most unique attractions in Warsaw. It is a place where you can learn about the city’s history while spending time surrounded by nature.
The site features the former residence of King Stanisław August, distinguished by its elegant architecture. The most recognizable landmark is the Palace on the Isle, which currently functions as a museum. Inside, visitors can see permanent and temporary exhibitions dedicated to the history of the residence, the life of the royal court, and 18th-century art, as well as selected contemporary displays. In the immediate vicinity of the palace, you will also find the Old Orangery with the Sculpture Gallery, the historic Royal Theatre, the White House and the Amphitheatre. The place has a calm, almost fairytale-like atmosphere, making it ideal for relaxing walks among greenery. While strolling through the park, you can also encounter peacocks and squirrels, which are its characteristic inhabitants. In the summer, famous Chopin concerts take place here under the monument of Fryderyk Chopin, creating a perfect setting for picnics, relaxation and moments of rest accompanied by live music.

ROYAL CASTLE IN WARSAW
The Royal Castle in Warsaw is one of the most popular attractions in the capital. It is located on Castle Square, more precisely in the heart of Warsaw’s Old Town and currently serves as a museum. Interestingly, the history of this place dates back to the Middle Ages. For centuries, it served as the seat of dukes and later the kings of Poland. For a long time, sessions of the Sejm and important state events were held here. Unfortunately, the Royal Castle was destroyed during World War II in 1944 and subsequently rebuilt. Today, visitors can explore its restored interiors, including the Royal Apartments, the Sejm Chambers, the Offices of the Presidents of the Second Polish Republic and the Government-in-Exile, as well as art galleries featuring works by Rembrandt and Canaletto. In addition, the castle hosts permanent exhibitions on Polish art, culture and history, along with concerts, state ceremonies and educational events. This place is especially worth visiting for those interested in Polish history and the post-war reconstruction of Warsaw.

PALACE OF CULTURE AND SCIENCE
The Palace of Culture and Science, a symbolic landmark of Warsaw, stands 237 meters tall and is distinguished by its monumental architecture in the Socialist Realist style. Inside the building, there are theatres, cinemas, museums, scientific institutions and exhibition spaces. Visitors can explore, among others, the Congress Hall, the National Museum of Technology, the Museum of Evolution, the Neon Museum, the Teatr 6. piętro, Kinoteka cinema, as well as numerous temporary exhibitions. However, the greatest attraction is the observation terrace on the 30th floor, which offers a panoramic view of the entire city of Warsaw. THE WARSAW RISING MUSEUM
The Warsaw Rising Museum is a space dedicated to the history of the Warsaw Rising of 1944, located in a former tram power station in the Wola district. The museum presents the 63 days of the rising and the everyday life of Warsaw’s inhabitants under occupation in a modern, multimedia form. During the visit, you can see numerous exhibits, photographs, recordings, collections of weapons, personal memorabilia and realistic reconstructions that help visitors better understand the events of that time. One of the most important spaces is the Wall of Remembrance, bearing the names of thousands of fallen insurgents, as well as an exhibition featuring the film City of Ruins, which shows a completely destroyed Warsaw from above. This is an extremely important place that encourages reflection and pays special tribute to the heroes and civilian victims of the Warsaw Rising. At the same time, it helps visitors understand the emotions and tragedy of those days.

THE MUSEUM OF POLISH MILITARY TECHNOLOGY
The Museum of Polish Military Technology is located in the historic Fort IX named after Jan Henryk Dąbrowski, situated within the Sadyba Oficerska complex. The museum was established in the 1990s and presents an open-air exhibition of heavy military equipment, including tanks, artillery, aircraft, helicopters, armoured personnel carriers and radar equipment used, among others, by the Polish Armed Forces. Inside the historic fort buildings, visitors can also see exhibitions dedicated to weapons, uniforms and soldiers’ equipment from this period. In addition, during the summer season, the museum hosts outdoor events, equipment demonstrations and engaging meetings that bring the history of military technology closer to visitors. This is an excellent attraction for those interested in military history and technology.

POLIN MUSEUM OF THE HISTORY OF POLISH JEWS
The POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews is a modern museum dedicated to the history of Jews in Poland, located on the site of the former Warsaw Ghetto. It is distinguished by its characteristic, minimalist architecture and an interactive way of presenting history. One of the most important parts of the museum is the core exhibition, 1000 Years of the History of Polish Jews, which covers the period from the Middle Ages to the present day. A key element of the exhibition is also the reconstruction of the wooden synagogue from Gwoździec, featuring richly decorated, hand-painted ceilings. In addition, visitors can see interactive installations, documents, photographs and objects related to Jewish culture. The museum regularly hosts temporary exhibitions, concerts, workshops, author meetings and lectures. It also includes an educational centre, a library and an auditorium.

BOTANICAL GARDEN OF THE POLISH ACADEMY OF SCIENCES
PAS Botanical Garden is a unique place on the map of Warsaw that combines science, education and contact with nature. The garden was established in the 1970s and serves an important research function for the Polish Academy of Sciences. It features thousands of plant species from various climate zones around the world. A major attraction are the greenhouses with exotic and tropical plants, allowing visitors to see species that do not occur naturally in Poland. The garden is divided into thematic collections and is an ideal place for a peaceful walk away from the city’s hustle and bustle. In the summer season, the garden hosts outdoor events, concerts, walks and educational meetings.
Free admission is granted to children up to 12 years old on Children’s Day and to retirees on the first Wednesday of each month (upon presentation of a valid ID).
THE UJAZDOWSKI CASTLE – CENTRE OF CONTEMPORARY ART
The Ujazdowski Castle – Centre for Contemporary Art is located in the historic Ujazdowski Castle, surrounded by Ujazdowski Park. Its history dates back to the 17th century, when the site served as a royal residence of King Sigismund III Vasa and subsequent Polish rulers. Today, it functions as a contemporary art centre presenting exhibitions by both Polish and international artists, including temporary exhibitions and collections of contemporary art. The venue also includes a cinema, an art bookstore, a library and multimedia spaces. In addition, it hosts numerous performances, social projects, and artistic events. This is a place worth visiting for those interested in contemporary art and new forms of artistic expression.

THE NATIONAL MUSEUM IN WARSAW
The National Museum in Warsaw is one of the most important art museums in Poland, with its history dating back to 1862. It houses extensive collections including painting, sculpture, drawing, printmaking, decorative arts and historical craftsmanship. Among its most famous works are The Battle of Grunwald and Stańczyk by Jan Matejko, Indian Summer by Józef Chełmoński and Jewess with Oranges by Aleksander Gierymski. A notable highlight is the Faras Gallery named after Professor Kazimierz Michałowski, which presents a unique collection of medieval Nubian art., the only one of its kind in Europe and one of the most exceptional in the world. THE MUSEUM OF KING JAN III’S PALACE AT WILANÓW
The museum of king Jan III’s Palace at Wilanów is a complex consisting of the palace, gardens and museum spaces. Its most important element is the Wilanów Palace, the former residence of King Jan III Sobieski and one of the most significant Baroque royal residences in Poland. Inside, visitors can explore permanent exhibitions, historic royal apartments, richly decorated halls and original interior designs that illustrate the life of the royal court in the past. The museum also hosts temporary exhibitions, cultural events, workshops and guided tours. The palace is surrounded by extensive gardens, which are perfect for walks and relaxation in a picturesque natural setting. In winter, the popular evening illuminations known as the Royal Garden of Light are held here. THE SŁUŻEWIEC RACECOURSE
The Służewiec Racecourse, opened in 1939, is one of the largest facilities of its kind in Poland. The venue is distinguished by its unique historic architecture, vast racing grounds, green surroundin and characteristic grandstands. During the racing season, the most important races take place here, such as the Wielka Warszawska, the Derby and the Arabian Day Gala, among many others. In the summer season, the area also serves as a venue for family picnics and outdoor events, including the Orange Warsaw Festival. It is worth noting that the Służewiec Horse Racing Track is located less than 2,5 km from the Warsaw Plaza Hotel.
